Celebration day

 Yesterday was my husband's birthday. I married in 2018 and it was the third time that I celebrated the day for him. Usually, I don’t prepare food well so much, but I wanted to celebrate the day for him by cooking, so I prepared this fish pie for dinner.

 The filling is salmon and pesto Genovese. It was kind of fun to decorate the salmon pie like fish. I used the kitchen knife and the spoon for the decoration.

I am not good with efficient cooking, so I prepared the pie and the chocolate cake in the morning and put them be in the fridge. 

Before the birthday home dinner, we went hiking near home. It was more humid air than usual after rain and could enjoy the scent of soil. 


For the first time, I found eucalyptus flowers and wild apples there. The scent of eucalyptus' flower was very gentle, and the wild apple tasted very sweet and gentle taste too.



I appreciate that I could have a day like this. Thankfulness to my dear husband.
